Synergi AI Charter

Our principles for responsible, effective, and trustworthy AI use.

At Synergi, we believe AI is one of the most consequential capabilities we can deploy on behalf of our clients and our teams. This Charter defines how we engage with that capability — not as a constraint on innovation, but as the foundation that makes innovation trustworthy.

We are a software services company.

Our clients trust our judgment.

These principles protect that trust.

Our Ten Principles.

  1. Humans own the outcome.
AI assists, informs, and accelerates — but every output delivered to a client, or used to make a consequential decision, carries a human signature. We never hide behind the machine.
  2. Transparency is not optional.
We are open about where and how AI is used — in our work, with our teams, and where appropriate, with our clients. Shadow use is unacceptable. Sanctioned use is tracked.
  3. Quality sets the bar, not just speed.
AI adoption is justified by the quality it creates, not the shortcuts it enables. Every use case must demonstrably hold or raise the standard of our delivery.
  4. Client data is a trust asset, not a training set.
No client data, confidential content, or personal information enters any AI system without explicit, documented approval. Client trust is non-negotiable.
  5. Security and privacy are built in, not bolted on.
AI tools are evaluated for security posture before adoption. Data location, access controls, retention, models conditions, are assessed as standard — not as afterthoughts.
  6. IP stays where it belongs.
We protect both, our own and our clients’ IP. We understand the licensing conditions of every AI tool we use. Inadvertent IP exposure is a governance failure, not a user error.
  7. We experiment boldly but govern before we scale.
Pilots are encouraged. Undocumented, unapproved scaling is not. The path from experiment to standard practice is defined and followed.
  8. One standard, many applications.
Our AI usage model is consistent across all teams and geographies. Delivery teams operate to the same rules, aligned with client requirements and instructions for each project.
  9. Accountability without bureaucracy.
We assign clear owners for governance, approval, and oversight — but we keep the process lightweight enough that people use it inherently. Governance that gets bypassed is no governance at all.
  10. We evolve as the field evolves.
AI capabilities, risks, and regulations are changing fast. We commit to quarterly review, active market monitoring, and the discipline to update our practices when the landscape shifts.

What This Means in Practice.

We do.

We don’t.

Use approved AI tools to accelerate delivery

Use unapproved or personal AI accounts on client work

Review AI-assisted outputs before sharing externally

Deliver AI output without human review and sign-off

Document AI use in relevant project records

Use AI in ways that are invisible and untraceable

Report unexpected AI behavior or policy concerns

Ignore incidents or work around governance processes

Protect client data in every interaction

Put confidential or personal data into AI systems without approval

Participate in training and quarterly review cycles

Treat AI governance as someone else’s responsibility
